Biography of Mahmoud El Dewihi

Born in Aswan in 1978, Mahmoud El Dewihi graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration in 1998 before delving into the world of art under the guidance of the renowned Egyptian artist, Adam Hanin.

Over the years, El Dewihi has showcased his artwork in numerous group exhibitions. These exhibitions include prestigious venues such as the Palace of Arts (2004), Center of Arts (2004-2005), Ebdaa Art Gallery (2005), Ahmed Shawqi Hall (2008), Saad Zaghloul Cultural Center (2008), and Smart Art (2017-2020), among others. He has also contributed to significant events like the Aswan International Sculpture Symposium (2006-2007) and Saloon El-Shabab (2007-2008).

In addition to his group exhibitions, Mahmoud El Dewihi has held several solo exhibitions at Arttouch Boutique and Samah Art Gallery. His artwork has found its place in esteemed collections, including those at the Museum of Modern Art and Cairo Opera House, as well as in private collections both within and outside Egypt.

El Dewihi's talent and dedication have earned him recognition and accolades throughout his career. In 2005, he was awarded the First Prize in Sculpture, followed by another First Prize from Saloon El-Shabab in 2007 and 2008, affirming his place as a prominent figure in the Egyptian art scene.
