Jesper Just's Art Style

Jesper Just’s artistic practice centers on exploring the creation and impact of imagery and representation. His work delves into how imagery shapes our understanding of bodies, expectations, identities, social conventions, and self-perception. Primarily working in film, photography, and installation, Just incorporates elements of movement, performance, sound, and visual symbolism to create deeply immersive environments.

Just's narratives are known for their conceptual and visual diversity, often leaving certain contextual elements deliberately vague and ambiguous. This approach invites viewers to explore the spaces he creates, which feel both foreign and familiar, thus shifting their focus and encouraging deeper engagement.
