Biography of Hsieh Mu-Chi
Born in the vibrant city of Taipei, Taiwan, in 1981, Hsieh Mu-Chi pursued his passion for the arts by enrolling in the MFA Department of Fine Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts, one of Taiwan's most prestigious institutions.
In 2019, Hsieh Mu-Chi's solo exhibition was a finalist for the prestigious Taishin Art Award, a testament to the impact of his work in the art world. Furthermore, he received the 2021 CTBC Painting Prize Merit Award, and his artwork found a permanent home in the CTBC Foundation for Arts and Culture collection.
Hsieh Mu-Chi’s notable solo exhibitions include "I.O.U. a Painting" at Project Fulfill Art Space in Taipei (2019), "Unforgotten" at Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts in Taipei (2017), "Geophilosophical Mining" at GAIART in Taipei (2016), and many more.
