Germaine Kruip's Art Style

Through her art, Kruip studies the scenography of ungraspable phenomena, such as the ever-changing daylight and the passage of time, the connection between art and ritual in repetitive gestures, aiming to subtly alter perception; historical attempts to create abstraction through geometry, as well as the desires, theories, and ideologies that shaped those attempts.

Kruip's artistic approach evokes the essence of Abstract Art and Minimalism in terms of its conformation while also inheriting a spiritual tradition in terms of its concepts. It encompasses the interplay of tension and connection between physical form and spirituality.

By adeptly engaging even with the external realm of the object, Kruip initiates a dramatic impact that metamorphoses both the artwork and its surroundings into a distinct stage. Moreover, she constructs a spiritual and meditative realm that stimulates human perception.
