Fabien Mérelle

Fabien Mérelle is a French artist born in Fontenay-aux-Roses in 1981. He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. His artistic practice includes drawing, sculpture, installation, and video.

Mérelle's drawings are characterized by their incredible level of detail and realism, often featuring surreal or dreamlike scenes that are both playful and haunting. He works with a range of materials including ink, graphite, charcoal, and watercolor.

In addition to his drawings, Mérelle also creates sculptures that explore similar themes of surrealism and the unconscious. He often uses materials such as bronze, wax, and plaster, and his sculptures often feature intricate details and textures.
