Emma Stibbon's Art Style

Emma Stibbon focuses primarily on drawing and print on paper, depicting environments undergoing transformation such as polar regions, volcanoes, deserts, coastal areas, and urban locations. Her exploration of landscapes is motivated by a quest to comprehend how human activity and natural forces influence our surroundings.

She conducts extensive location-based research, collaborating with geologists and scientists, and translates gathered information into large-scale drawings and prints in her studio. Using sketches and photographic records captured on-site, Stibbon's studio artworks directly reflect her field experiences.
