Edith Dekyndt

Biography of Edith Dekyndt
Edith Dekyndt was born in Ypres, Belgium, in 1960. Today, she splits her time between the vibrant artistic hubs of Brussels, Belgium, and Berlin, Germany, where her creative vision continues to evolve and inspire.
The artist studied at E.T.H. in Saint-Ghislain, obtaining her Bachelor degree in Visual Communication (1978-1980). She also received a Master of Visual Arts from the Ecole Supérieure Des Arts Plastiques Et Visuels de l’Etat in Mons, where she attended from 1980 to 1985.
Her notable solo exhibitions include "The Memory Of Everything In The World" at Galerie Karin Guenther in Hamburg (2022), "Concentrated Form of Non-Material Energy" at St. Matthäus-Kirche in Berlin (2022), "The Ghost Year" at Galerie Greta Meert in Brussels (2020), "The Black The White The Blue" at Konrad Fisher Gallery in Dusseldorf (2020), and many more.
Additionally, Dekyndt has participated in numerous group exhibitions held at François Pinault Foundation, Space A, Spazju Kreattiv, Hamburger Kunsthalle, Walter Storms Galerie, Galerie Bernd Kugler, and LABOR Gallery, to name a few.
