Damian Moppett
Damian Moppett is a Canadian artist born in 1969 in Calgary, Alberta. He currently lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Moppett's work is known for its multi-disciplinary approach, incorporating painting, sculpture, installation, and performance. He often creates works that are hybrids of different media, blurring the boundaries between them. His art is characterized by a rigorous and thoughtful exploration of materials and techniques, as well as an engagement with art history and theory.
Moppett received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary in 1995, and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia in 2001.
