Katarina Janečková Walshe was born in 1988 in Bratislava, Slovakia. She pursued her education from 2009 to 2013, earning an MA in Painting from the Academy of Fine Art in Bratislava. She currently resides in both Corpus Christi, Texas, and New York.
With the arrival of her first child and living in a foreign country vastly different from her own, Walshe delves into the captivating and surreal facets of daily life through her artwork, reflecting these newfound experiences.
