Juan Araujo

Juan Araujo is a Venezuelan artist born in Caracas in 1971. He is known for his paintings and installations, which often explore the relationship between art, history, and memory.

Araujo studied at the Instituto de Diseño de Caracas and later at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. He has exhibited his work extensively in Venezuela and internationally, and has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors.

One of Araujo's most well-known works is his series of paintings based on photographs of modernist architecture and design, which he began working on in the 1990s.
