Erika Hock
Erika Hock (born in Dshangi-Dsher, Kyrgyzstan, 1981) is known for her practice that seamlessly blends sculptural and architectural elements, along with a keen interest in tapestries and furniture, exploring the intersections of history, society, and culture. Biography of Erika Hock
Erika Hock pursued history and fine art studies at Westfälische-Wilhelms-University and Kunstakademie Münster (DE) from 2001 to 2003 and continued with fine art studies at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf (DE) between 2004 and 2009. She concluded her studies with a postgraduate program at HISK – Higher Institute for Fine Arts, Ghent (BE), from 2012 to 2013.
The artist has participated in various art fairs, including ARCOMadrid (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) and SWAB Barcelona Art Fair (2022).
Erika Hock has showcased her art in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
