Elliott Erwitt
Elliott Erwitt is an American photographer born in 1928 in Paris, France. He is known for his humorous and often poignant photographs of people and animals, as well as for his documentation of historical events and figures.
Erwitt began his career as a documentary photographer in the 1940s, working for magazines such as LIFE and Look. He became a member of Magnum Photos in 1953 and continued to work for magazines and on personal projects throughout the following decades.
